TELEPHONING YOUR DOCTOR
Although most problems are best dealt with at an appointment, you may ask to speak with the doctor on the phone. Doctors will return your call, usually at the end of the day, however they will take emergency phone calls as required.
Our patients who require repeat prescriptions are able to attend a brief appointment at one of our Script Clinics. These are run daily, usually at 1:30pm. The time of the script clinic may sometimes change so it does pay to call the surgery to confirm the time if necessary.
These clinics are strictly 30 minutes in length, and patients are seen in order of arrival. Therefore it is important you arrive at the specified time. These appointments are strictly for repeat prescriptions so if you know you need other medical advice please book a normal appointment with your doctor.
Script Clinic consultation are bulk billed.
Please ensure you phone reception for all results. Do not expect reception staff to interpret your results; they are only able to read the comment that the doctor has recorded. Please phone after 11am.
For your privacy/confidentiality we will not discuss results at the front counter, we require you to phone us to obtain these results.
