DR ABBY CHAPMAN

Dr Abby Chapman grew up in Ulverstone, and completed her medical degree at the University of Tasmania in 2014. She then worked in a variety of hospitals before completing her Fellowship of the RACGP in 2020. She has completed additional studies in Sexual and Reproductive health and has an interest in a range of women's health problems, pre-conception health, menopause and contraception. She also offers mirena removals. She’s also completed additional training in Neuroprotective Developmental Care and used this approach to help mums with breast feeding issues, sleep difficulties and unsettled infants. She has previously worked at Headspace and enjoys seeing young people with a range of issues. Her other interests include mental health of all ages and backgrounds, eating disorders as well as general medical care.


In her spare time she enjoys running, and spending time with her husband, two young children and dog.
